We describe ourselves as a voluntary organisation as we are governed by a Board of Directors with each Director acting in a voluntary capacity. For the purposes of charity law and under our constitution our Board of Directors are also known as our trustees.
We are a Scottish Charity that is recognised by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) and our charity number is SC023353. We are also a company limited by guarantee and registered in Scotland and our Company Registration Number is 155475.
We employ several staff and deploy a number of volunteers under the day to day management of our Chief Executive Paul L Mooney.
Although we are funded by Forth Valley NHS and the three local authorities in Forth Valley we sometimes have to fundraise for some of our costs and services. You can help us by making a one off or a regular donation and if you are interested in doing so please contact us.

There are 10 full time and 9 part time staff members employed by ASC to deliver and manage our counselling and rehabilitation services across Forth Valley.
We also have 12 volunteer counsellors/addiction workers who volunteer their time to provide additional support to our service users.
